| Caribbean Classic Enters its Fifth Year in Cancun | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
 March 1, 2010 - The Caribbean Classic will kick off its fifth year at the Moon Palace Resort in Cancun, Mexico in December 2010.The tournament will feature from four NCAA DI women’s basketball teams and will be played December 20 and 21, 2010. Illinois State, Ball State, Nevada, and Alabama-Birmingham are the teams headlining the event thus far. The Caribbean Classic is run by Fort Collins, Colo.-based Triple Crown Sports, which also organizes men’s college basketball tournaments in Cancun. Triple Crown coordinates the Preseason and Postseason Women’s NIT as well. |
